When Pam was the Designated Broker for AZ Realty One Group, she actually encouraged her agents to call other brokerages to see what 'they' were offering. Each agent must have a comfort level with not only their brokerage and Designated Broker, but with the office staff, processes and procedures and methods of commission payment. With many offices going out of business we are keenly aware of the concerns of agents about getting paid their commissions. When ever possible we will pay from escrow to make sure you get a check ASAP. If we receive the commission in the office we will pay by direct deposit as soon as the funds are available. We won't charge you for processing BPO payments or REO reimbursements.

Pam and Rich started PRTeam Realty Svcs and we have taken ideas from many other companies to create something that would be of great benefit the agent. In today's market -- with all the challenges of doing business -- we discovered that over 90% of the agents work from home offices. And we know that broker support and commission payments are HUGE concerns. Broker support is truly 7-days a week by cell phone, email, text messages --- whatever means it takes for you -- the agent -- to get your questions answered.

Commissions ... we want you to be paid from Escrow at COE! And if there is some reason this cannot happen, then we want to do direct electronic payment, ACH, so you DON'T have to come to an office to pick up a check.

Also, how many times have you received a commission check that was only $1700 yet had to pay the FULL transaction fee? We don't know your commission structure, but with many companies there is a flat transaction fee no matter how much (or how little) the amount of gross commission. With us, any gross commission less than $2500 you will pay only 10%; any gross commission of $2500 or more you will THEN pay the flat $250. Other than an E&O fee your transaction processing fees will never exceed $500 per month.

Files .. you don't have to drop off your files. Those days are gone!! You can either fax or email the files to the office. Coming soon, SureClose electronic transaction management. It is already in use around the state and currently an AAR state wide standard.

Yard signs and business cards -- you design your own!! Specific Logos are required, but because of ADRE and RESPA there is not much we can do about that one.

A question frequently asked is regarding our location. PRTeam Realty Svcs runs the base operation from a south Chandler location (our home) so we do not have an office for the agents to work in. If you are an agent that has a home office and does not need a brokerage office to work out of, then we would truly want to talk with you more. We found that with over 400 agents we saw few agents at the office -- the rest we talked with on the phone, sent emails back and forth, or we decided that WE were in need of a Starbuck's "fix" and met there. We do the same thing with this brokerage. We have even had discussions on setting up a branch office based in a coffee shop. (Yep, most agents are caffeine junkies so it might make a good setting. Ever noticed how many agents are in your favorite Starbucks throughout the day?)

One other item to consider. We believe that brokers who do not continue to work the business tend to lose touch with how the current markets are working. They know the basics but need to work the market to keep up with the knowledge required to provide their agents with good support. Agents sometimes don't like their brokers to compete with them. It is needed and can all be done to the advantage of the agents. Brokers also need to experience the trials and tribulations that the agents deal with on a daily basis. Running the other brokerage we were totally disconnected from the field and we don't want that to happen with this one.
